I like the exploration of modules and as Im usually not a fan of the beehive usually I think as cells it works very well with your concept and the ability for it to grow in 3 dimensions. I’m looking forward to see what module you pursue
It is great that you show the different phases of the canopy over time. What advantages does the hexagonal iteration have over the original option? Could they both occur at different conditions? Does the hexagonal shape add structural stability and efficiency to the canopy over the square?
You do a great job of curating your work. After looking through some of your stuff from last term I am really impressed with your representation skills. What is the benefit of creating this public space above the homes? I worry that it takes the circulation above the homes which creates site lines into people’s private space on the 2nd floor of their homes. Similar to Kai and Jeremy above I am curious about the hexagon shape. Would love to hear more about the evolution from a rectangle shape with square units to a more organic shape with hexagon units.
