Work in progress. After the site section is complete, I will be posting close ups of the areas where landscape and built environment converge.

  1. I think the spaces youre creating are architecturally sound and can be very nice. However I think your program isnt reflected as much in these sections. How do your interventions allow people to react to eachother on an everyday basis walking down the street? And how does it change that interaction? What becomes a point where people exchange words? Where your proposal seemed to have more permeability and connection for the pedestrian, I think that sequence of spaces would be revealed in section and isnt quite communicated just yet in these drawings.

  2. Hey Neil this is Andrew Gaffney. I got a text message from Jason saying that we should talk because our projects are similar and having a Skype or Factime conversation might be helpful. Here is my number 732-859-1249. I do not have your email so I thought I would message you as the next best thing.

  3. I see that you are using solar panels and rooftop gardens to emphasize your ideas of energy. This tied along with the ground water management you are using seem to create a kit of parts. Is there one of these areas that you enjoy the most? Would the gardens only go on top of the cafe’s and solar panels occupy other roof structures? These are the areas that seem a tad bit confusing.
